A Kiss for Cinderella

 

Three refugee children Flo, Blue, and Krista are certain that their new friend Jane is Cinderella. They each bring a version of the tale; Krista, the German 'Aschenputtel', Blue, the Italian 'Cenerentola', and Flo, the Jamaican version (in which Cinderella travels by breadfruit rather than pumpkin.)  

 

They all know the story and hatch a plan to make it come true. Jane is kind, works for a wicked Baroness, and has just met her very own Prince Charming. While the war rages on, and refugee children are under attack, they decide that they will make sure Jane gets her happy ending no matter what.

Alice is definitely not sad, which why it is so surprising that she should find herself at the bottom of a rabbit hole in the middle of a lazy afternoon. As she battles her way through Wonderland facing the weird and wonderful characters (all played by one chameleon-like MC), Alice finds her way back to the happiness of her childhood.
